Jefferson Bookstand - rotating bookstand

The Jefferson Bookstand, as pictured, is constructed of solid walnut with 1/2” book holder panels and breadboard ends. These ends allow the wood to move and will ensure that your Bookstand will look beautiful until you pass it on to your grandchildren. It was originally designed by Thomas Jefferson for studying multiple texts at the same time. This version uses many of the same fabrication techniques as almost all parts are handmade by myself.
Each side moves independently of the others and has 5 different heights that the stands can be set to. The top has 6 different adjustable angles for either reading or displaying your favorite texts and each book shelf has page holders to keep your texts open.
Measuring at 12 inches across the square top, and 16 inches from the base to the closed top panel, the Bookstand has a small footprint when closed.

We are now offering the “Jordan” version of the Jefferson Bookstand - this version would remove the top stand and replace it with an engraving and epoxy fill. Simply message me the engraving and color and we will make your dream a reality!

Now with the option of having the top lay completely flat when closed as opposed to the default angled top. simply chose which variation you would like when ordering.

These pieces are made to order and require time to manufacture and produce quality work. The time frame came be anywhere from 2-4 weeks for production.
